| Yo guys, it's been a while since my last update. Life is awesome, cuz I've got Jasmine. Yes, I just tried to rhyme. And I did it! Anyway, I'm good, for those of you who haven't heard from me in a while. No, I am not dead, and have not fallen off the face of the earth. I am here at UCLA, getting busy with my labs! I love my labs. They are so fun that I just want to do them alllllll day. Well, lately, I've seen many many movies. They include: The Da Vinci Code, X3, MI:3, The Da Vinci Code (yes, I loved it so much I watched it twice). Let's see what else I did. Well, I played Text Twist and Diner Dash. If you don't know what those games are, I have one word for you: Google. So, I am so addicted to Diner Dash that I dled it. Oh yes, it has become my second DOD. Oh, my bad. It's Diner Dash 2. Yes, the 2 makes all the difference in the world. So, besides taking my engineering courses, I have been trying to practice my vocab. My myriad of tasks to do and gormandizing the pumpkin pie at the campus eatery has consumed my precious time. There, that was all the vocab I used in the past 6 months. Ok, I'm so bored, I'm bored of writing this entry. Till 3 years later! -Ron
P.S. - Call me! I want to go out of my room...........and away from the data..........
If you are actually reading this, you have not given up on checking whether or not I update and I sincerely thank you for your care. Soooo give me eprops!!!! And leave me comments!!!!

Bored, bored, bored and more bored
There is nothing more maddening than not being able to do anything. So here I am, the first real week of July and I'm bored stiff. For the last three weeks I've been trying to find a suitable summer job to no avail. But even more obnoxious is the fact that I don't have regular and convenient access to a car. Now, I could handle dipping into my savings if it meant that I could go out regularly without having to fight to get use of a car... but yeah... thats not happening either. Sooooooooooo blah. My summer siutation is kinda blah right now. Still searching for a job and still waiting for the day when I can have my own car to use as I please.
That's the reason why I'm stuck here typing in my xanga, which I haven't used in 5 months, which in turn hadn't been used for five more months before the last time I used.it. I can remember bck in the day when I used to update this thing regularly... it was last summer I suppose, where I ended up doing something like every day. So anywyay, enough of my useless ranting and here's an update of what's been gnoing on in my life.
I got contact lenses. Yep, after all that time where I said, "Yeah yeah, I'll get them some day, maybe this ________ (insert summer, winter, next year, never here)" I finally got them. It's been a bit over two weeks now and I must say, I could get used to them. It's kinda disconcerting though the first few times.... seeing this finger come closer and closer to your eye... *shudder* Anyhoo... no more glasses for me unless I'm feeling lazy, yay.
Movies... Well, I guess I kinda see a lot of movies... not so much as before, but I've seen plenty. The last one I saw was Spiderman 2... now that was a not-so-good movie. I was kinda shocked that so many people thought that the first Spiderman was such a great movie and that it grossed such a vast amount of money in the theaters. I mean.. it was a good movie... but not GREAT. Anyway, I came into Spiderman 2, not sure what to expect, but whatever I was expecting, it wasn't up to those expectations. My suggestion is... don't go in with any expectations and you won't be too disappointed. On the other hand, Farenheit 9/11 was actually quite good, despite it being much too long for my tastes. Michael Moore is a documentary genius and thus, the movie was very good, albeit biased too much in some scenes. If you had the choice to watch Spiderman 2 and Farenheit 9/11, I woud choose Spiderman 2 if and only if, you want a movie that is mind-numbingly corny at times combined with the brainless action of the typical movie flick. And I would choose Farenheit 9/11 if your attention span can exceed watching three episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh back-to-back and are not going to be offended by the numerous barbs thrown at Bush and his administration.
As for the other things I've been doing this summer.... went to play basketball a few times... I really suck now... and I've been seeing a lot of Jasmine, which is always a good thing. Now... anyway, I'm getting really bored and thus, I guess I'll go watch TV.... sad though, when I was at UCLA and had access to most of basic cable, I never took advantage of it... but now when I'm at home... I watch TV when I have no cable. Sad.
| Valentine's Day Weekend and more
I would have to say that Valentine's Day weekend was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. I'm glad that Jas didn't go off to Berkeley for a speech comp this weekend. I ended up going to a lot of places and doing a lot of things. Lol, I think I did so much stuff that I'm having a hard time remembering exactly what I did on Friday.. I know I went out with Jas.. but that seems to be all that I can remember. Saturday was Valentine's Day, started off with breakfast with the group at the Pancake(French Toast this year) Breakfast at Schurr and then off to do the Valentine thing, which turned out to be really nice. And then Sunday was going to eat brunch at Mr. Baguette (sp?), which has really good croissants(sp?) and then off to Nickel Nickel. I can't believe I had that many more tickets in my pocket!! Darnit, Jas could've gotten her glow-in-the-dark handcuffs, lol. Then went out to eat with my family for my Dad's birthday, darned Japanese food is so expensive... 20+ bucks per person.. -__-;; Came back, and then went to the bowling alley with Jas.. ended up seeing Randi, Van, Stewart and Joanna there, so that was cool. My bowling game has degraded so much... haha, that last game was just embarassing. Then Monday.. Monday was Jas off to Disneyland for Orchestra.. so letsee.. oh yeah, my brother and I picked up a pie and stuff for my Dad's b-day (it was actually today) and then went back to UCLA.
Tuesday wasn't a very fun day. First, I screwed up on chem lab midterm. Then I go to work and have to talk to this asshole on the phone. And then I spent 16 hours on a project that should've only taken 2 if my professor had just told me one thing. I rewrote that damn program friggin 4-6 times. But yeah.. once it was done, I felt much better.
Today... well, I'm in work right now... so I should be doing work. But yeah, I'm not, so I'm here writing in my Xanga. My Computing for Engineers midterm wasn't too bad. I'm hoping for an A, and I actually think I can get one, so that's cool.
I miss you. | | |
| Friggin' a
I had a bad feeling about this math 32a midterm... and guess what... that feeling came true. That had to be one of the worst tests I have ever taken in my life. I walked away knowing I failed that one. I can only hope the curve is kind to me, otherwise, I'm totally screwed. =\
